2001 Rate ScheduleBATES Motorhome
Rental of New Orleans currently has a variety of recreational vehicles
in its fleet at New Orleans Louisiana. They range in size from 25’ Class
“C” to 37’ Class “A” Diesel Pushers. We have luxury coaches that sleep
four persons with slide-out walls for more living space to compact family
coaches that are capable of sleeping eight.
Other Costs:
DEPOSIT: A $750 or $1,000 (see insurance) deposit is required to secure the rental. The deposit will be returned in 7-10 working days provided no additional fees are incurred.
MILEAGE: BATES requires a 3-day minimum rental. Some special events may require longer minimums, such as Mardi Gras and Talladega Race rentals. Each rental will receive 100 free miles per day. Thereafter mileage is charged at $0.25 per mile for Mid-Size Motorhomes, at $0.26 per mile for Deluxe and Luxury Motorhomes, and at $0.27 for Very-Large Motorhomes.
GENERATOR: Generator usage is charged on all rentals at $2.00 per hour of generator run-time. For motorhomes with a propane-fueled generator there is a $22 surcharge to cover the cost of propane.
INSURANCE: All Motorhomes must be covered by insurance prior to rental. BATES offers Collision Protection Coverage (CPC) with a $500 deductible (covered with damage deposit) for $ 14 per day of rental or the renter may provide coverage on his/her own from his or her own insurance company. BATES must be supplied with a “Certificate of Insurance” covering the specific vehicle rented prior to the rental date. Renters without transferable insurance coverage will be subject to a $1,000 deposit. Damages caused by striking overhead objects, undercarriage (tires, wheels, mufflers, hubcaps, etc.), and windshields are considered negligence and/or misuse and/or carelessness and the renter is 100% liable. Personal contents, undercarriage, windshields and the striking of overhead objects are not covered by CPC insurance. Any damages to the Motorhome will be deducted from the deposit.
HOUSEKEEPING KITS: Housekeeping kits are available upon request. They contain cookware, utensils, linens, blankets, pillows, etc. They are rented at $ 35 per person with a two-person minimum.
MISC. CHARGES: Drivers license checks will be charged at $ 9 each. All rentals regardless of length are charged a $ 45 sanitation fee; this includes the cost of propane except for the motorhomes with propane-fueled generators. For people traveling with pets there is a $50 fee. There is a $10 per day premium for units with slide-out walls. If vehicle requires extra cleaning upon return the cleaning fee is $ 30 per hour inside, $ 2 per foot outside. All vehicles must be returned with the holding tanks emptied. A $45 fee will be charged to empty holding tanks. Vehicle must be returned with the fuel tank full. BATES charges a $ 25 fee for filling the fuel tank plus the cost of the fuel. |
